Upcoming Charitable Poker Events in DFW
The 5th Annual Tackle Cancer Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament will take place this Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Ghostbar in Dallas, Texas. It is $225 to play in the poker tournament or $125 to be a spectator. The celebrities in attendance will include the Dallas Cowboys own Marc Columbo and Sam Hurd as well as Patrick Crayton of the San Diego Chargers. This is a very reasonably priced charity poker event that benefits a worthy cause.
On February 2, 2011 in Centennial Hall at Fair Park Kiss’ own Gene Simmons will be hosting Aces & Angels, a poker tournament benefiting the Wouned Warrior Project. For more information click here.
The Minnesota Viking’s Adrian Peterson is hosting his All-In Celebrity Poker Tournament benefitting The All Day Foundation on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Gilley’s South Side Music Hall. Celebrities in attendance will include Poker Great Phil Hellmuth, Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver and Texas EX Roy Williams, Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald, Chicago Bears Defensive End Julius Peppers and many more.
