Dallas Mavericks 2011 Playoff Summary
The Mavericks covered the 5 point spread beating the Portland Trailblazers by 7 in Game 1 of the Series and beat them again in Game 2 night by 12 to cover yet again. They lost Game 3, but the Trailblazers couldn’t cover the 5 1/2 point spread, so if you took the Mavs, you won. In Game 4 Portland executed an amazing come back, outscoring Dallas 35 to 15 in the fourth quarter and beat Dallas by 2, but it wasn’t enough to cover the 4 point spread.  The Mavs went into Game 5 4-0 against the spread and 2-2 in the series. The Mavericks made the most of their home court advantage and racked up a 92 to 83 victory that covered the 5 point spread. The Mavericks were 4 point underdogs in Game 6 last night, but ended up taking it to the Blazers winning by 7. Last night the Mavs beat the Los Angeles Lakers 96 to 94 as 6 point underdogs in Game 1.
